Frame Tents

Frame Tents only have perimeter (side-poles) and no center-poles. This is a good tent for areas of limited space or where a center pole is not acceptable. Frame Tents can be staked or anchored with water barrels, or a combination of both. This tent can be used for custom installations over multi-level areas and over swimming pools (speak to your salesperson about custom installations, extra costs may apply).

The framework in the ceiling gives the user more options for hanging and supporting light weight decorations, lighting fixtures, fans, and fabric draping. The entire ceiling can be lined with a tent liner to give that dreamy look. Side-poles can also be draped. Sidewalls can be installed so that the tent can be heated or air-conditioned.

The increase in installation labor makes this tent more expensive to rent than a Pole Tent. A Frame Tent is a versatile tent option for almost any type of event. Frame tents are not engineered for wind ratings.

Pole Tents

Pole Tents have perimeter side-poles and also center-poles going down the center of the tent. In 80′-wide and 100′-wide Pole Tents there are 2 sets of center-poles (twin pole) down the middle. In 20′, 30′, 40′ and 60′-wide tents there is only 1 set of center-poles. Pole Tents use ratchet straps that extend to stakes or concrete anchors that are 5-8 feet out from each side pole.

Pole Tents must be staked into grass/asphalt or anchored into concrete. Water barrels are not an option on this tent. Lights and fans can be mounted to the center-poles and/or the perimeter-poles. Center-poles and side-poles can be draped to render a more elegant look. Sidewalls can be installed so that the tent can be heated or air-conditioned. Minimal install/removal labor cost makes this tent a great value.

Pole Tents have elegant sweeping curves, which makes them a very attractive option for weddings, parties and gatherings that have plenty of space. Most of our Pole Tents (except 40′-wide Pole Tents) are engineered with a wind rating of 72 mph.

Structure Tents

Structure Tents have taller perimeter legs that are spaced further apart, no center poles, and a higher ceiling than a Pole or Frame Tent. A Structure Tent can be staked, anchored into concrete or anchored with concrete blocks. The rafters and beams are much heavier and can support more weight than any other type of tent. This tent gives the user more options for hanging heavier decorations, lighting, audio/video fixtures, fans and extensive fabric draping.

The Structure Tent has tighter fitting sections and walls, which give the user a more sealed tent when heating and air-conditioning. This tent has the highest wind and storm ratings, which make it ideal for long term installations such as construction sites and renovation projects. Although, no matter what type of tent you have, always evacuate a tent in adverse weather.

This tent can be fully draped from ceiling to floor for extensive decorating.

The Structure Tent also provides wider openings and taller ceilings for events such as car shows or concerts. The increased cost in purchasing and increased labor for installation make this tent more expensive to rent than a Pole Tent or Frame Tent.

A Structure Tent is an excellent option for installations that demand more performance from the tent. We have Structure Tents ranging in widths from 20′ to 100′ and lengths as much as 200′ plus.
